Responsible for analyzing the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) automated information system Facility Management (FM) application. Evaluate user requests for new or modified functionality to determine feasibility, time required, compatibility, and capabilities.Serve as a contact for users having problems with the FM application, providing assistance, support, and advice to end users. Determine whether problem is caused by hardware, software, or system. Answer questions, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, systems, and procedures. Work with co-workers to research problem and find solutions. Work with programmers to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs. Test software to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work. Determine and test software functional requirements. Write or revise user-training manuals and procedures.

•Performed daily software regression testing of the FM application. This included 20+ modules in FM, Drawbase and Business Objects. •Wrote detailed business rules and functional requirements according to standard templates, using simple and concise language.•Served as liaison between software programmers and end users to gather and define software business rules and functional requirements. •Researched and analyzed business and end user needs by applying systems analysis techniques to determine software functional requirements. •Assisted with the coordination of POM projects as they occur.•Coordinated with Service representatives.•Tested and evaluated software as it is developed. •Managed, identified, and documented software problems using the Tracker database. •Managed and resolved help desk tickets called in by end users using a variety of support methods including the Remedy trouble ticket database and web conferences. •Wrote, reviewed, and edited FM training documentation including on-line help, release notes, simplified guides, step by step and e-learning lessons. •Created training videos using Camtasia software. •Served as primary functional analyst for the Facility Management application. Serve as liaison between Tri-Service Medical System Support Center - DMLSS Tier I help desk- and Joint Medical Logistics Functional Development Center -DMLSS Tier II help desk- on all DMLSS-FM related tickets. Manage all data patch requests (DP), System Change Requests for new feature functionality, production environmental bug fixes, development environmental bug fixes that are submitted into the Serena Business Mashups tool. •Interacted with designated programming resources to insure projects meet requirements, are fully tested, and developed and released within the specified time frame. •Coordinated with Analysts to validate test plans against development requirements to insure application integrity.
