I am the senior staff scientist for the Associate Center Director of Population Science. In this role, I develop analysis plans, conduct or direct statistical analyses for ovarian cancer epidemiology studies (cross-sectional, prospective cohort, survival), and prepare reports and manuscripts; assist in grant preparation, including acting as the lead or contributing writer for the scientific and supporting non-scientific sections as well as developing budgets and budget justifications; provide oversight and act as the main contact for multiple grant-funded projects to ensure timely progress on aims; train, supervise, and mentor other members of the research team; maintain good working relationships with collaborators across multiple departments and shared resource cores within Moffitt as well as with external collaborators.Key contributions:• Lead or co-lead grant writer for 4 funded proposals• Director of the Ovarian Cancer Cohort Consortium (OC3) Data Coordinating Center• Supervisor for 6 staff members • Contributing author on >25 publications

As an Associate Epidemiologist in the Chronic Disease Epidemiology Unit of the Channing Division of Network Medicine, I provided scientific direction for epidemiologic studies using questionnaire and biospecimen data from two large, longitudinal cohort studies; developed analytic plans in collaboration with epidemiologist, biostatistician, and clinician team members; conducted statistical analyses using SAS and R; presented results to cohort leadership and internal working groups; and wrote manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.In addition, I performed several administrative roles for the cohorts. As Associate Director of the BWH/Harvard Cohort Biorepository, I designed and coordinated pilot studies assessing biomarker assay reproducibility as well as biomarker stability with delays in sample processing and long-term within-person stability; analyzed pilot data and provided results summaries and interpretations to investigators and assay laboratory personnel; and led and contributed to manuscripts describing results for specific assays. As Associate Director of the BWH/Harvard Cohorts Data Repository, I led the Sub-study Committee, a team of 10 staff and 2 faculty members spanning multiple areas of expertise including programming, questionnaire development, and data management; provided guidance to investigators initiating sub-studies; and supervised an update to the design and content of the public and internal cohort websites.
