Management of a global team of inventory analysts.

I was selected in Sept 2007 to particiate in a leadership development program involving 4 six-month rotational assignments. I am currently completing an international assignment in Nortel's UK office that involves cost reducing the plan and deploy process in EMEA. Prior to the international assignment, I project managed an operations cross-functional team to introduce a new Carrier Ethernet platform into manufacturing. I was responsible for selecting the contract manufacturer, transferring the design into manufacturing, delivering prototypes per the design schedule, cost and quality. Delivered $5.3M of prototypes to R&D over an 8-month period. Other NPI projects included the introduction of several multi-service switch circuit packs into the Wireless GSM & UMTS portfolio.

I have worked at Nortel since 1981 in various technical and managerial positions spanning systems engineering, program management, business operations, and supply chain operations on both sustaining products and new product introduction. The products include microwave radio transmission, optical transmission, and data products.
