Senior Event Manager
Current• Management of all vendors required for a program. • Consult on behalf of clients and in providing operational solutions, management of vendors, hotel, and budget. • Ownership of program documents including deposit requests and final invoicing • Upsell services when applicable to increase revenue in addition to ownership of budget to obtain gross profit goals • Connect with hotel conference service managers and onsite staff to ensure a seamless partnership for the client between DMC and Hotel • Management of Event Staff assigned to a program and proactively prepare staff prior to a program to ensure consistent communication and operational excellence • Salesforce database management regarding ASO’s and Vendor information, in addition to working with procurement to confirm vendors are vetted and approved. • Ensure that KPI’s and Key Results are measured and met • Works with clients that have full-service events or large scale and takes the lead if the program is split due to the size • Support the Director of Events / Associate Director of Events with training and mentoring new team members MEASURABLES • On average operates $4M - $5M throughout the year • Directly responsible for achieving KPI’s and Key Results
