In my current role at Porter-Leath, I continue to manage both internal and external communications. I am growing the footprint of Porter-Leath's digital advertising, video production, student and employee recruitment marketing and program promotions, and serve as the in-house graphic designer.

This position incorporated website and email messaging, brand and reputation management, relationship building across the organization and within the community as well as capturing content to use in various communication vehicles - newsletters (print and digital), video, photographs and direct mail.

Books from Birth became the sixth program of Porter-Leath in July 2017.As Communications Manager at Books from Birth, I managed messaging/branding, volunteer engagement, and signature special events. Books from Birth is the Shelby County affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and is the largest of all 1,600 affiliates in the US, Canada, United Kingdom and Australia. The mission of Books from Birth is to promote kindergarten readiness and strengthen family bonds in Shelby County by providing age-appropriate books for all children from birth to age five.

• Worked with donor population of Church Health Center to maintain relationships and contributions by targeting the message to report fund appropriations from donors.• Tracked pledges for major donors assuring the payments were made and appropriations were reported.• Collaborated with team members to steward donors through mailings and thank-a-thon opportunities• Managed major donor groups, signature milestones and events to assure brand awareness and follow up.

• Processed daily donations, run and reconciling credit card transactions and input data changes into donor CRM platform• Collaborated with finance and health outreach departments to maintain registration for and develop Continuing Education Units for inaugural, international faith and health conference• Mailed honorarium/memorial cards to donors and honoree recipients• Facilitated pledge program by developing a reminder schedule and maintaining consistent communication with donors
