With a strong background in both banking and consulting, Eyre has a proven track record of delivering strategic leadership and innovative solutions in the dynamic and complex landscape of the financial services industry.Eyre’s professional tenure featured executive roles at prominent institutions such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Accenture, KPMG and eBay/PayPal, where she led high-profile mergers and multi-year transformations. Her expertise spans across all aspects of mergers and transformations, including risk management, regulatory compliance, operational optimization, technology alignment, financial modeling, contingency planning and cultural alignment.Eyre is currently the Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) at Cornerstone. In this role, she leads strategic M&A teams, drives business expansion, fosters client relationships, and innovates service offerings to align with market demands. Mary’s in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the financial service sector, coupled with her strategic acumen, has enabled her to navigate the challenges inherent in merger integrations and large business transformations while identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth and synergy. Before her current role, Eyre held the positions of Chief of Staff and Program Management Executive at Bank of America for 17 years and was responsible for delivering complex, multi-year merger integrations, and strategic business and technology initiatives. Before Bank of America, she was at eBay where she played a pivotal role at a pioneering company specializing in web-based person-to-person and money-transfer services, which eBay/PayPal subsequently acquired.Mary holds a Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California Davis.
