I transitioned to the DBA team following a Developer role on the Load team, and currently serve as a Teradata DBA in the Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Warehouse. Monitor system, user support, performance tuning, project support, backup and recovery, and capacity planning. I provide comprehensive support to users with problem SQL, including access issues. I archive data, create backups, and restore data as needed. I assist with installing new tables and modifying existing tables, and ensure data security by limiting access to approved personnel. Among my achievements:❖Work directly with partners in Marketing, Risk, and Compliance as well as with U.S. systems administrators, developers, and project managers on a variety of different activities. ❖Contributed to improvement in performance tuning, reversing previous negative impact on service level agreements. Reviewed problem queries with the Load team and provided solution (modification of table definitions) that resulted in smooth-running jobs going forward.❖Managed challenging team of business partners on a key project assignment, providing support for the team for over 3 years. ❖Ensured users adhered to programming and departmental standards, as well as maintaining compliance with audit and regulatory requirements when providing any DBA-related service.

I was brought on board to work as an ETL Application Engineer in the Wells Fargo Data Warehouse. I coordinated with business partners, analyzed data, and provided sample data to businesses, and provided production and post-implementation support. Past successes:❖Collaborated with team members (Business Analyst, Data Modeler) and business partners to meet and exceed goals for large-scale projects in the Enterprise Data Warehouse, including:→ Reviewing requirements→ Preparing ETL design documents→ Designing ETL processes→ Loading multiple data sources❖Strengthened skills in Teradata SQL, UNIX Scripting, and Abinitio, demonstrating proficiency in developing data extraction, transforming and loading jobs (flat files, Oracle and Teradata sources into Teradata using BTEQ, Fastload, Multiload, and Albinitio graphs).

I served as a Software Engineer member of the Reporting team for a large-scale Teradata Data Warehouse. I worked on multiple reporting projects and developed SQL scripts to support reporting requirements. I created reports via Business Objects.
