I am responsible for the strategy, planning, and policies that support 40K airport operations employees. Also, I oversee international planning, regulatory, and accessibility programs along with station transitions. I manage 50+ third party business relationships and contracts of $400M including Service Level Agreements. My skills as a Project Manager are often utilized for enterprise-wide initiatives which balance operational requirements, corporate strategies, information technology infrastructure, corporate real estate capabilities, and financial oversight. One project included designing and operationalizing new provisioning supply chain warehouses at 3 hub airports supporting 1,250 daily departures.I enjoy developing and leading a high-performing team of 80 professionals who deliver a safe, caring, dependable, and efficient product for our customers and frontline employees!

As the Chief of Staff, I supported, advised, and collaborated on strategic priorities in alignment with United’s shared purpose and values. I facilitated, developed, and maintained an inventory of critical path projects across the enterprise. This position required a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. I enjoyed working with a broad range of professionals to drive strategic initiatives! It tapped a range of my strengths such as analytical skills, resourcefulness, and emotional intelligence. I aligned several departments by standardizing reporting, capabilities, and decision-making tools. The priority projects I managed included strategic aircraft configurations, premium seats, safety initiatives, pilot workforce development, and customer service initiatives. The executives and Board of Directors relied on me for the creation and coordination of their presentations and communications.

In this role I was responsible for the business strategy, financial, and operational performance of United Express regional flying. This role involved successfully integrating a portfolio of flying and ground handling partners which provided a seamless customer experience on 3,600 daily flights at 250 airports, approximately 66% of United Airlines' daily flights. I managed a $5B annual budget which consistently achieved goal.The complexity of the role made it fascinating for me. I enjoyed owning all aspects of the regional flying and ground handling portfolio! I managed complicated flying and ground handling contracts, regional relationships, and safety initiatives while developing and leading a high-performing team. One of my major accomplishments was the successful integration of United and Continental regional flying and ground handling operations.

I managed all domestic airport facility projects totaling $1B annually on time and within budget. The projects I led involved baggage systems, terminal reconstruction, support facilities, and jetbridge installations. I established and maintained strategic relationships with airports, government entities, and other airlines which achieved strategic, operational and financial goals.I enjoyed teaming with corporate and frontline personnel to significantly improve the airport experience! One way I accomplished this was by developing and implementing a prioritized project system.My key airport facility accomplishments included O’Hare’s jetbridges and security screening capabilities; improvements to the baggage system at Los Angeles airport; and negotiating rent/lease agreements at key airports.

I was proud to be able to perform financial cost analyses during bankruptcy that assured a successful emergence.
