As a knitwear designer, I create complex colorwork patterns that involve paleontology, animals and nature, or other science-focused motifs. In this role, I manage my social media marketing, online storefronts, document creation, and beta testing in groups of 30 - 60 global knitters for each pattern.

At the Field Museum I had the great experience of working with the invertebrate fossil collections where I studied the specimens and then created life reconstructions in Photoshop for use on the museum's website.

At Triebold Paleontology I molded and cast fossils and fabricated bones; cleaned up and detailed cast bones (removed seam lines and pour spouts, added texture, etc.); painted casts to appear antiqued and genuine; produced a relief sculpture depicting a 10-foot long insitu Coelacanth skeleton; re-sculpted, molded, cast, and detailed an existing Dimorphodon macronyx skeleton.

Learned the basics of molding and casting fossils and fabricated bones, cleaning up and detailing those casts, and painting them to appear antiqued and genuine.
