During my internship at Sutter Post Advisors, I performed a complete CRM transition to a highly technical workstation platform. I completed in-depth business valuations and provided detailed commentary on data analysis. Much of my time was spent researching investor type, firm contact information, sector data, and differentiating fund and private placements to allow for easy navigation on the new workstation. Additionally, I drafted investment memos based on sales pitches in the technology, healthcare, and real estate industries.

Throughout my time at The Courtauld, I facilitated direct communication with members and high-level donors to increase engagement and recruitment. I conducted constituent research in customer relationship management systems to capitalize on the technology of both Tessitura and Raiser’s Edge. I reached my objective to compare donor support and corporate partnership benefits by aggregating fund data in Excel. In doing so, I was able to more effectively synthesize new & alternative programs working to increase cost-efficient fundraising. I worked across three development teams simultaneously to coordinate gallery turnout and private venue hire during the landmark Van Gogh Exhibition. Morgan Stanley acted as the lead partner in successfully reuniting and showcasing sixteen of Van Gogh’s Self-Portraits for the first time in 130 years. As a leading contributor to the Venue Hire team, I managed new and ongoing contracts for corporate and private events by coordinating logistics with gallery staff and clientele during this exciting time.

I optimized the events process by collaborating with clients, overseeing product updates through custom software, and consistently surpassing sales targets ($230 per hour) even in high-pressure environments. I improved client satisfaction by offering tailored bridal styling consultations and recommendations. Acting as the main point of contact for such a distinctive event, I cultivated lasting relationships that encouraged brides to dress themselves, their bridesmaids, and family members, resulting in repeat business for the company.

Our student fundraising team excelled in accumulating resources for our university. The upbeat, team oriented work environment allowed for healthy goal setting, competition, and success. I researched student experience surveys to pinpoint critical areas and allocate resources accordingly by making suggestions to contacts. I utilized the online database to reach alumni, parents, and friends of the University through direct contact. In conversation, I improvised and adapted to effectively raise funds for various programs and scholarships on campus that continue to support members of our student body.

Working with the Prevention Office as a part of Keystone Substance Abuse Services where people of all ages can receive education from the evidence based curriculum. I have been able to shadow various presentations and meetings the organization hosted, involving drug court and high school prevention education. I worked closely with my supervisor and multidisciplinary teams to construct treatment plans targeted at achieving continuous care by providing coping mechanisms for life challenges and new behavioral skills.

Safe Passage is an organization offering services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. After engaging in 25 hours of training, I partnered with the attorney who handles legal advocacy in orders of protection and domestic violence cases. In collaboration with her, I read law, created binders, updated client contact sheets, and reviewed cases. I was able to study victims' forensic interviews and shadow social workers in providing care daily. I systematized donations for the Safe Passage shelter, leaving the organization with an easily accessible, organized stock room. At times, I also provided childcare for clients receiving therapy.

Interning for Senator Boozman of Arkansas provides me with professional experience in the US government. I am proficient in mail distribution and organization, answering constituent calls, and giving tours of the Capitol Building and Capitol Visitor Center. Additionally, staffers provided me with various tasks throughout my five weeks on the Hill; such as logging requests using Microsoft Excel, researching the solvency of the US Social Security Program, and drafting constituent responses. Attending hearings and briefings, in addition to shadowing the Senator, made this experience an amazing one.
