I perform software design and development for an SDI client contract. I provide full-stack development skills ranging from defining and implementing REST APIs to creating graphical user interfaces in ExtJS. I have significantly added to the user interface of the application, focusing my implementations on customer needs and preferences. I have played a critical role modernizing the project's architecture using microservices with tools such as Spring Boot and OpenAPI. I perform system and software testing functions as part of the software engineering team and participate in agile software development processes, including design reviews, code reviews, and standups. I developed training materials as well as lead multiple client training sessions that detailed how the application worked and how engineers can build off of core code to support their own unique needs.

I supported SDI application development and maintenance efforts for fireground accountability applications, including efforts on SDI’s Hand-Talkie/Spare Mask Application modernization upgrade effort for the Fire Department of New York City (FDNY).

I developed a solution to an automation initiative with the purpose of encouraging iterative development in PNC’s Agile teams, decreasing time spent on a redundant task by 96%, interviewing PNC employees to ensure I developed the most user-friendly automation solution. I also analyzed the PNC customer journey in an effort to provide recommendations for future projects and focus points. I coordinated effectively with a team of two technologically savvy individuals as well as a team of five individuals with different educational backgrounds, demonstrating my exceptional communication skills. My contributions did not go unnoticed and I received outstanding feedback on my performance review, earning the company’s highest-ranking.
