About Masami Dustin

I am a highly adaptable and ambitious team-minded individual who loves to learn and spread empathy. As the Strategic Projects Manager at FamilyAid, I work in tandem with executive leadership implementing core strategic initiatives to meet the agency's long-term objectives while supporting day-to-day operations within the President's Office. In this role, I oversee CHIME as the initiative's Project Manager. CHIME is a multi-year, cross-system initiative focused on improving services and access to them for children experiencing homelessness. I convene leaders from various sectors and institutions and families with lived experience to examine existing policies and practices together, identify critical barriers to services that children face, and develop community-driven action plans that ultimately ameliorate and bridge siloed systems through an antiracist and human-centered lens.As a scholarly first-generation student during my time at the University of New Hampshire, I studied how the intersection of strategic frameworks and behavioral tendencies can effectively lead to large scale social change. Now, my goal is to work with others to reimagine structures, policies, and procedures that uphold America’s most pernicious societal issues.
