In today’s environment, the only constant thing is change. Every aspect of our professional and personal lives has changed and will continue to change – something that both tests and drives us to greater achievements and creativity.At the heart of businesses’ change is digital transformation, a process that is happening faster than ever. It’s important that we conceptualize this not as a temporary shift, but a new normal: the speed of transformation will only accelerate more and more in the future. Digital solutions are proving their potential, not just for coping with change but for enabling entirely new possibilities, services and business models.I define my own mission in the context of that transformation. As Head of Marketing and Member of the Management Board at SAP Germany, my purpose is to give my team members the bravery and self-belief to enact change and create new concepts powered by technology – just as we do for our customers at SAP.Many times throughout my career, I’ve seen the power of leaving your comfort zone and rethinking norms – and today, it is not just an option but a necessity for modern business evolution. When we detach ourselves from rigid structures and traditional ways of thinking, and unleash people’s potential through a trustful and collaborative atmosphere, we can achieve our goals and even more. That’s why I strive to enable and pave the way for growth, fostering employees’ trust in each other and themselves, and giving new ideas space – to try, fail and rebuild better, boldly and without judgement.I am determined that transformation needs a foundation based on values. That’s why I am a proud board member of the Wertekommission – an initiative for executives in Germany which focuses on creating awareness that values matter across all business endeavors.Constant improvement is my mantra, both at work and at home. In my free time, I regularly train my body and mind through yoga and meditation.
