About Masato Lin

Hello! I'm Masato Lin! I'm a game developer with a background in creating gameplay mechanics, implementing UI, and creating game systems. I've made games in both Unity and Unreal Engine 5 and worked with teams as small as 5 for game jams and as large as 20+ for capstone projects. I love the capabilities of programming and want to be able to use it to fulfill my creative outlet and make immersive and expansive environments and stories. That's why I've decided to pursue a career in the Games Industry as it's a way to combine programming with my creative ambitions.I graduated from USC with a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Computer Science Games.I also minored in Linguistics.Aside from games, I also have interests in historical cooking, Japanese tea ceremonies, dinosaurs, and linguistics (I'm working on balancing Japanese and Korean at the moment).
