After more than 15 years of international professional experience in the field of project- and program management and PR, I now work as an advisor for different organisations and people who need expertise and solutions in the above mentioned areas. My strength is my creative, free and strategic mind that can sharply identify the soul of an organisation and make it work for the goals of the organisation. I bring a large network in the cultural sector, both in the Netherlands and in Europe. My passion lies with organisations and people that deal with urgent societal matters, arts (all forms, with a special love for the ones that are not labelled or are underrepresented) and environmental issues.

SPACE is een kunstenaarscollectief uit Boedapest en Amsterdam. SPACE maakt documentair theater, interactieve games, theatrale rondleidingen en installaties in de openbare ruimte. De projecten van SPACE zijn immersive storytelling ervaringen in diverse media. Ze zijn altijd cultuur-specifiek en de deelnemers of toeschouwers zijn de hoofdrolspelers. De storytelling is ruimtelijk en zintuigelijk en ontleedt complexe sociale vraagstukken zoals migratie, polarisatie, ongelijkheid, eigenaarschap en dekolonisatie. SPACE stelt dat in de safe&brave space van de verbeelding een diep besef van verbondenheid kan ontstaan doordat we onze angsten en dromen durven voor te stellen en met elkaar delen. We krijgen grip op de werkelijkheid door te spelen met fictie.

The Humans of Film Festival developed from the Humans of Film Amsterdam street photography blog, a platform where personal stories of Amsterdam residents are shared. This project shares the personal impact that film can have on people and how they can find representation and recognition. It also gradually reveals the lack of diversity in the film landscape. From this starting point, initiator Feargal Agard set up a film festival that focuses on the so-called ‘human interest films,’ a niche that was still missing in the Dutch/Amsterdam film landscape. Human interest refers to films that focus on people, their experiences, and the environment that they live in. In a society that is increasingly polarizing on a social and political level, this festival attempts to create a space for encounters, where stories are told and shared by and for people who are not often heard enough.

Since August 2019 I am enrolled in great new project as freelancer till end of 2019: I am working as Project Manager with the inspiring and energetic team from Interall, a leading company for sustainable products. What makes them unique: esthetic design combined with the latest sustainable materials. As Project Manager I will optimize the process-flow and accompany the junior team members. As a long-term conscious consumer and strong believer of sustainable and circular production chains this assignment has a special value to me.

ECF is a European independent Foundation that bridges communities and cultural change-makers across wider Europe. Connecting Culture, Communities and Democracy is the over-arching thematic focus ECF supports, researches and advocates for. I joined ECF in 2004 as a freelancer to design and implement the communications and PR for the policy team. Later I joined the ECF as Senior staff member. An overview of my activities: communications strategy and implementation, building and managing a European media network, media spokes person, copywriter, network building, designing dedicated outreach events and manage them. At a later stage I had the joy to shape programs within the Diversity team of the organisation.

Mama Cash is an NGO from women for women. Based in the Netherlands they want to empower women in fragile/difficult positions in the world to have more say within their communities /societies. They do that by supporting intiatives in the field of economic, social, intellectual, political and legal empowerment/emancipation.

I was reponsible for the internal brand roll-out wihtin all the European entities of Brambles (at that time called Barmbles Services). Linked to that I also started a motivation campaign and set up a regular internal newspaper. I worked closely with all 5 main offices in Europe. The European headquarters were I worked were located in Paris.
