Dr. M Ashraf Rizvi is a Management Expert, Professor, and Author with more than two decades of teaching experience in IIM Indore and IIT Dhanbad. Dr. Rizvi trained more than 25000 professionals from India, UAE, Malaysia, Singapore, Muscat, Norway, etc. who benefitted from his high-impact lectures, programmes, and workshops.Dr. Rizvi is currently Founder, Director, & Chairman of Maxel Business School, an independent business school having the mission to make quality management education accessible to marginalized sections of Indian society through innovative management programmes. He is also the Chairman of Maxel Leadership Council, A Section 8 Not For Profit Company. Prior to this he was the Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow and Jaipuria School of Business, Ghaziabad. Before that he served at Indian Institute of Management, Indore as Professor in the Area of General Management and Chairman, Executive Education, General Management Area, and Media Management Centre. Earlier, he had a stint of more than 15 years at Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad as Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer and about one year at Sultan Qaboos university, Muscat, Oman as Assistant Professor of Business Communication. Dr. Rizvi teaches a variety of courses to PG & Doctoral students including Communication, Negotiation, Leadership, Managerial effectiveness. He has delivered lectures in IIM Indore, IIM Lucknow, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Rohtak. Dr Rizvi has been a corporate trainer and executive coach par excellence, and he has designed and conducted innovative management and leadership development programmes for public sector as well as private sector companies including LG India, ONGC, Alstom, GAIL, Thomas Cook, Honeywell, Birla, Eicher, Godrej, NTPC, Vodafone, Reliance, Bharat Petroleum, EIL, SBI Life, PNB, and several other organizations. He has consulted with several organizations including Ministry of Home, Government of India, Ministry of Health, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Directorate of Industries, Government of Uttar Pradesh, IPCA Pharmaceuticals, Kotak Life Insurance, ONGC, etc.  Dr. Rizvi is a prolific writer. He has authored 11 books (5 of them published by McGraw Hill Education) including the national bestseller "Effective Technical Communication". He is also the author of over 60 journal articles, book chapters, reviews, working papers, cases, role plays, simulations, and notes.
