Drying rice fields by draining stagnant water, improving irrigation and creating newirrigation if neededb. Improvement of the physical condition of the land. Former rice fields are usuallyhard after drying due to long-term use of chemicals (pesticides and chemicalfertilizers) so they need to be restored first. c. Clearing areas are needed to clear weeds and invasive plants on the site. Thisis necessary so as not to inhibit the growth of the main plant. d.
