I am a telecommunications engineer (MSc) with almost 30 years of experience in design of Satellite, TLC and SCADA equipment & systems.Being a passionate innovator, I have co-founded a number of innovative startup companies, in the SATCOM, Healthcare and IoT world.My latest focus in Proesys is on Satellite IoT, with the world's first LoRa over GEO satellite system over Echostar S-Band network.My earlier experience in Skytech on SATCOM and VSAT led to a world-first dual band Ku/Ka maritime antenna, a recognised international reputation, with good success in the Oil&Gas satellite market.Previously I have been Technical manager of STAER for 17 years, designing and delivering SCADA products, systems and TLC accessories for the Oil&Gas, TLC, TV, ATC and Railway markets.I have managed projects over 1M€ in Oil&Gas, Broadcast and Satcom systems in Italy, France, USA, Middle East, North Africa (Algeria, Tunisia) and Venezuela, with notable customers such as Echostar, Hughes, Marine Technologies, Eutelsat, Viasat, MTN, Cisco, Telespazio, RaiWay, ENI - AGIP, SNAM Rete Gas, Hewlett Packard, PDVSA, Telvent, Sonatrach, Cegelec, ABB, Nokia Siemens Networks, Italian Railways, Selex Communications, Alcatel-Lucent, ENEL, Wind.I have management experience, both as a technical manager and administrator.
