I was in charge of the improvement processes in the Supply Chain by using Lean techniques (mainly JIT); in the area of integration of the operations betwenn the company and its franchisee.

I led 8 Lean Six Sigma projects and trained, coached and gave support to 16 green belts of an important European pharmaceutical company for a general benefit of 500 K euro. I achieved a sound knowledge in change management, training and coaching and in advance statistical tools.The goal of the DMAIC projects were:• the reduction of the time of set-up (2 projects): use of SMED techniques and MUDA analysis;• to increase of the yield of the production line (2 project): studying of first yield and analysis of waste (MUDA);• the optimisation of a production line (3 projects): use of Value Mapping and FMEA; • the improvement of a process with an environmental impact (1 project): use of hypothesis tests.

I achieved the Black Belt certification and I worked as Project Leader in Six Sigma and Business Reengineering projects. My main achievements are:Reduction of excess and obsolete inventory (Six Sigma): the final benefit was calculated to be 320K euros; the team involved people from IT, Finance and Production.Optimisation of relations with third parties (BRP): I reduced the time to process the orders and created a new system of communication between the company and the suppliers. The team involved members of Traffic Dpt. and IT.Logistics (Six Sigma): for each of the key products the optimum batch size was found. The team involves members of IT, Sales and Finance.
