The project was conceived by Professor Carlo Bagnoli (Head of Strategy) and Maria Claudia Pignata (CEO), who had the vision to identify Venice and its fragile, unique environment as the perfect setting to develop and test scalable solutions for the global sustainability challenges of our time. In just three years, VeniSIA has 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟮𝟯 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽𝘀, selected from over 6,000 applications, and 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 €𝟱𝟬+𝗠𝗟𝗡 from 20+ corporate and private investors. This impressive track record underscores VeniSIA's role as a catalyst for innovation in the sustainability sector. VeniSIA collaborates with notable partners, including 𝗘𝗻𝗶 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲, 𝗖𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻, 𝗦𝗻𝗮𝗺, to enhance its impact.
