Hacked away on remote desktops, breaking networks and (nominally) fixing access issues caused by my broken networks. Learned to love the Thinkpad for how easy it was to wipe and reinstall constantly. Got really into the Google Maps API around this time, and used it to win the "Nelnet CampusKey Hackathon" with a social heat map (talk about FOMO). I also made a neat tool with Maps and the Transcription API to automate service address lookup for the fiber wing of Nelnet, but apparently, recording all customer calls and sending them to Google was "untenable" for the Department of Education. bummer.
