Coding is my passion.Ever since my first computer science class in high school I have found the act of coding very engaging. Back then I spent my breaks between Comp-Sci classes working on coding exercises ahead of schedule, just for the fun of it. However, I felt like it wasn't enough, like there was more to programming than could be presented in those classes. Joining TU/e showed me how much more there is to programming.Flying to another country, away from my support group, to study at an elite university where I wasn't sure I could keep up with the courses sounded like a crazy choice (probably because it was) and yet it was all worth it. While studying in Eindhoven I learned not just how to solve coding problems, but more fundamental concepts relating to data structures, algorithms and design patterns which improve the quality of software more than code golf or console log debugging.
