I started with an entry-level position and worked my way up to becoming a marketing officer.I am proud to say that despite my degree being unrelated to my current career, I have learned, adapted, and succeeded in my role. I am currently a skilled banker with a passion for financial crime prevention and investigation.I developed a strong interest in preventing unlawful activities such as money laundering during my time as a branch marketing officer. As part of my responsibilities, I was tasked with verifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting any possible instances of exploitation or illegal activity in the banking system following AML regulations and guidelines.I strongly believe in saying that "prevention is better than cure". Proper verification (KYC/EDD), assessment (Risk review), monitoring (Transaction/account monitoring) ), and reporting (AML compliance) are key elements in fighting financial crimes.So, I would be honored to be part of your "justice league" fighting against financial crime! 😊
