I am part of a team working for Telefonica responsible for delivering new products and integraitons. My main developments are listed below:• Built a distributed system to migrate 16k users between website platforms via web scraping, using Redis/RabbitMQ and Celery for event-driven processing. It reduced the migration time from 2 weeks to 3 days, leveraging data processing and storage tools such as Pandas, NumPy, SQL, MongoDB, and Parallel Programming (Python Multiprocessing).• Orchestrating data integrations (ETL) using a diverse range of API architectures (e.g., Rest, GraphQL, RPC), accommodating a variaty of data formats (JSON, CSV, XML, etc) seamlessly integrating to internal systems and Salesforce Data Extensions.• I created a series of proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to validate the implementation of cutting-edge technologies on a smaller scale.• I performed comprehensive architectural enhancements on our projects, yielding improvements in the testability of vital system components.• I successfully led a paradigm shift towards mandatory unit and functional testing across all new projects. This strategic move led to a staggering surge in code test coverage from 20% to an impressive 80%, alongside a substantial 1.5x reduction in production errors.• Developed a streamlined application orchestration strategy using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to significantly reduce the operational burden of managing cloud-based applications.• Implemented a CI/CD strategy leveraging Gitflow and GitHub Actions, fully automating test suite execution, application integration, and deployment processes for Kubernetes workflows. I was part of the internal systems team, focusing on the development of backend microservices and real-time monitoring tools. During this period, I achieved the following results:- Built a WebSocket-based microservice for selling robots on the stock market, handling around 300k daily logins.- Created a real-time data, event, and metrics streaming service for 80+ company microservices, providing better application observability compared to the previous solution.- Developed an interconnection mechanism between different instances of microservices to enable real-time communication and data synchronization, ensuring fault tolerance in case of application failure.- Implemented internal tools with abstractions (e.g., Design Patterns as Strategy, Builder, etc) that reduced code repetition and improved code quality.

I developed TBFT, an evolution of Poseidon, a framework written in C that optimizes the performance and energy consumption of parallel applications written in OpenMP through thread throttling and management of boosting techniques. Compared to the previous one, TBFT can reduce the learning cost by up to 90% in specific scenarios. I developed performance and temperature analysis on modern processors to understand their characteristics and optimize these metrics.I studied different thread and task-based parallel programming models.I studied the characteristics of distributed systems when using libraries like OpenMPI. In addition, I studied Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud systems.I developed API's for internal use at Unipampa using Java 11, Spring Framework and MySQL.

I ported benchmarks for supercomputers written in OpenMP to the task-based parallel programming model OmpSs-2. Furthermore, I applied different asynchronous programming and distributed systems libraries to improve the performance of these applications.I processed and analyzed data from the execution of the ported applications to a real supercomputer to understand their performance.

I was responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of Agendei Quadras, an application/API with over a thousand users.I worked in an Agil development team (Scrum) to develop stories, make estimates, and plan sprints.I worked on the code quality improvement proposing measures to improve the application/API structure such as code standardization and refactoring to reduce "bad smells" and increase code reuse.

I developed Poseidon, a framework written in C that optimizes the performance and energy consumption of parallel applications written in OpenMP by up to 42%.I developed different optimizations for high-performance environments (i.e., supercomputers) that were published in important international scientific conferences.I performed data cleaning of parallel application executions on a large amount of data in different formats using automation scripts.I analyzed large amounts of data (10k+) from runs on supercomputers to understand their performance characteristics and power consumption.
