• Client was utilizing an existing internal SharePoint site to manage the ordering process. The web app was configured to use Windows authentication and provided a seamless experience for internal users via AD.
• Because SharePoint Products and Technologies are built upon the ASP.NET 2.0 pluggable authentication provider model, they can now support authentication for users stored in Active Directory, a Microsoft SQL Server.
• In order to provide a cost effective solution, consultant suggested the use of Forms Based Authentication via a Microsoft SQL Server database. Consultant implemented additional zone and alternate access mappings for.
