Since 1987, I have served as Chairman EVINS, Ltd., which provides branding, marketing, communications and public relations strategies and services for a wide array of industries, but specializes in the luxury, prestige and mass-tige market sectors. EVINS offers a myriad of other specialized programs and services, including business development, cause related marketing, corporate image management, crisis communications, event management, executive reputation management and media relations, as well as affinity programs and strategic partnerships. Previously, from 1984-1987, I served as CEO and as a member of the board of Pain Therapeutics Corporation, a company engaged in developing methods for the diagnosis, treatment, and abatement of chronic pain.From 1982-1984, I served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cardiff Consultants, Limited, a privately held corporation engaged in business and financial consulting, investment analysis, product and trademark licensing, as well as strategic positioning and marketing. Prior to forming Cardiff Consultants, Ltd., from 1980 to 1982, I served as Vice President and as a member of the board of directors of Vector Petroleum Corporation, a privately held oil and gas company. From 1976 to 1980, I was co-managing partner of The Talisman Group, which published a quarterly investment advisory newsletter known as “The Talisman Report,” which was the world’s leading investment advisory newsletter for the three years of its publication. From the age of twelve and throughout the next ten years, I was involved in medical research at the Cornell Medical Center.
