No single institution has expertise in all areas of virology. So the GVN brings world-class virologists together in innovative ways in order to leverage strengths and to focus global teams of scientists on key scientific problems.
The power of GVN lies in its global reach, the depth of its science, the speed with which it can tackle new research problems, and its commitment to solving viral challenges facing the human population.
