Collaborate with supplier's Advanced Process Technology team to develop and qualify new PCBA technology processes. Ensure successful implementation of the newly established process for mass production phase and monitor performance. As a technical lead for operations, I do provide ad hoc technical support and drive corrective actions during escalations on both NPI and mass production phase. Upon request by other organization within my company, I conduct due diligence and supplier capability audit at various supplier sites mainly in China, Malaysia and Thailand.

I was hired as a resident lead engineer for Thailand EM Operations. Overall responsibility was to ensure supplier complies and adheres to Sun's quality contracts and specifications. Worked 100% remotely at supplier sites. I reviewed product yields drove continuous improvement to achieve the highest yield possible. Actively audited the production process and systems at EM sites. Managed to standardized reporting and RCCA formats to meet all the expectations from various team withing Sun. Fixed communication breakdown between the supplier site and engineers in US by working closely with the supplier's global team and channeled technical communications through me. Validated RMA returns to avoid unnecessary scrap and high cost repairs.
