Assembled modified prototypes of lasers and performed tests. Designed and manufactured brackets, enclosures, and fixtures. Created components in SolidWorks and also reverse-engineered outdated Inventor files, in accordance to PLM system practices.

Developed a patent pending industry-implementable method for printing isotropic big area additive 3D prints via a 6-axis robot. Achieved through dispensing of a liquid 2-component polyurethanes which chemically bond between layers, resulting in desirable mechanical properties. This project encompassed a lot of areas of mechanical engineering including electro-mechanical systems integration, product procurement, project management, machine construction, mechanical testing, metrological/rehological sampling, and complex fluid mechanical simulations. Our projects findings warranted invitation to present our novel printer and results at the largest additive manufacturing academic conference, SFF in Austin. Grade: 12

Played a pivotal role in the manufacturing and product development side of Nordsense's innovative waste collection sensors. My problem-solving skills saw a rapid expansion of responsibilities, resulting in becoming the lead for the manufacturing and product development areas. My work resulted in the sensors maturation from hand-built prototypes to thousands of units getting installed across multiple continents, ultimately making cities both much cleaner & greener.

Joined Nordsense during the company's infancy, where the primary focus of the company remained on the electrical and software aspects of the prototypes. At the time, mechanical hardware was at the proof-of-concept stage and I was assembling the electro-mechanical product by hand. Through my work, I matured the product to 1st generation production units, making the sensors both feasible and reliable for use in real-world conditions.

Worked in a student team on a concept which ultimately became the app "Slingshot". Slingshot had many innovative features such as a pay-to-play mechanic which made users interact together. Our team supported the project with feature ideas, development roadmaps, user research, functionality design, and creation of UI mockups. Many of Slingshot's features and UI design have subsequently been ported across many other Facebook product offerings - Messenger and Instagram being notable beneficiaries.
