Mathieu DeBlois is a visual artist, designer, and researcher specializing in creating narrative-driven audiovisual compositions for immersive devices. He is currently completing his master's degree in volumetric filmmaking at the School of Digital Arts, Animation, and Design (NAD-UQAC). His projects, developed in collaboration with composer Philippe Racz and programmer Romain Salha, have been showcased at various digital art festivals in North America and Europe. In 2023, their project L’architecture des souvenirs was presented at ADAF in Greece and Ars Electronica in Austria. More recently, their project Florescence was selected for the 2024 ACCR Odyssée fulldome residency program. Mathieu DeBlois is now working through the SÍM residency in Reykjavik, Iceland, to continue developing a digital affective archive of the 32 Seljavegur (SÍM) building, which is scheduled for demolition in 2025 to make way for luxury apartments.https://mathieu_deblois.artstation.com/
