My interested is in anything related to 3D. Throughout my PhD, I had the chance to do research on a broad range of topics including procedural geometry for CAD modeling, computational optimization of 3D models, and 3D reconstruction of plants for high-throughput phenotyping. Besides working in academia, I also did research internships at big tech companies during summers. Most of the projects I worked on led to peer-reviewed publications in conferences and journals, as well as patents.I am an excellent C++ programmer, especially with anything related to 3D geometry. I also have a good knowledge of GPU programming, Python, and Machine Learning. My background is in software engineering, and I like to deliver high quality code. If performance is critical, I am not afraid to profile and go low level to optimize performances.Most importantly, I am a team player, and my knowledge of engineering helps me to successfully interact with people from different fields when working on interdisciplinary research projects.
