PhD Thesis in Electrical Engineering that started in February 2020 between SuperGrid Institute and the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid. This thesis focuses on the segmentation of the transmission electrical grid using DC links in order to improve its stability, reliability and control.Thèse de doctorat en génie électrique débutant en février 2020 entre SuperGrid Institute et l'Université pontificale de Comillas à Madrid. SuperGrid Institute is an ITE (Institute for Energy Transition) specialized in the study of the electrical grid of the future.I joined the program Architecture & Systems and the subprogram Protection for which i am doing my final internship called :Design and integration of a supervisor for the protection of an HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) grid within the Architecture and Control Program.My main tasks are:- Definition of the protection architecture- Modeling of a Discrete Event System (DES) supervisor for the protection- Implementation of this supervisor on EMTP-RV (electromagnetic simulation)- Simulation of an HVDC grid integrating this supervisorMy mains results are :- Showing that DES are a good way to supervise protection strategies- Showing that DES supervisor increase the reliability of the protection scheme In view of this results, this method will certainly be generalized in the protection teamSuperGrid Institute est un ITE (Institut pour la Transition Energétique) spécialisé dans l’étude du réseau électrique du futur.J'ai intégré le programme architecture et contrôle et le sous-programme protection, où je réalise mon stage de fin d'étude de six mois intitulé :Conception et intégration d’un superviseur pour la protection d’un réseau HVDC (haute tension courant continu).Mes tâches principales sont :- Définition de l’architecture de protection- Modélisation d’un superviseur DES (Discret Event System) pour la protection- Implémentation de ce superviseur sur EMTP-RV- Simulation d'un réseau HVDC intégrant ce superviseurEn particulier, mon travail a permis de montrer que les DES sont adaptés à la supervision de stratégie de protection et qu'ils en améliorent sa robustesse (un des critère le plus important en protection). Ce outil va donc surement être généralisé dans le futur proche.
