As an NHLPA executive, I worked with the players, the league, and the union to protect the rights and interests of the professional hockey players. I have more than 35 years of experience in the hockey/sports industry, including 22 years as a former pro athlete in the NHL, where I won the Stanley Cup, the World Cup of Hockey, and represented the USA in 2 Olympics. I have developed strong skills in organizational leadership, team leadership, and consensus building, as well as a deep understanding of the game, the business, and the culture of hockey and sports. I am passionate about advancing the welfare, safety, and education of the players, as well as promoting the growth and development of all sports. I have brought diverse perspectives and experiences to the NHLPA, and I am committed to fostering a collaborative and respectful environment for all stakeholders.
