Corrosion study of an aluminium alloy used in the core of the Jules Horowitz Reactor (France). The research focused on the influence of pressure and water chemistry on the corrosion behaviour of the aluminium alloy. Several experiments in autoclaves were performed. Oxide layer and microstructure of the aluminium alloy was studied with Optical Microscopy and SEM.
