KeriMedical is a privately-held hand specialist that develops and designs a complete range of implants for hand and wrist surgery.As an IT Technician, my aim is to support users in the use of the various systems deployed by the IT Department, as well as providing technical assistance on 3 different sites.

The Institut Laue Langevin offers scientists a consequent IT infrastructure where 90% of which is built on open-source systems and software. To support scientific research, the ILL hosts 10 petabytes of scientific data storage, features 100 Gbps interconnections, and offers a cloud computing infrastructure.My role was to oversee the monitoring of the institute's network infrastructure and various servers. I was also in charge of resolving and escalating level 1 and 2 tickets.I took part in the redesign of the network bays in the various buildings on the site, in order to modernize the wired infrastructure and facilitate network upgrades.My end-of-study project was to create a 3-layer test infrastructure (replicating the institute's network infrastructure) to create a Network Access Control (NAC) using the 802.1x protocol and a freeRadius server. I was then able to study all the identification possibilities and provide a report for production deployment.

The Institut Laue-Langevin is an international research center at the forefront of neutron science and technology. Every year, around 1500 researchers from all over the world come to carry out their experiments. I was responsible for providing comprehensive user and researchers support on all OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS), ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations and resolving technical hardware and software issues. My role consisted of configuring and deploying workstations, as well as keeping our IT equipment up to date through a technological monitoring. I also led the implementation of Zoom solutions in the meeting and conference rooms. One of my main projects was to re-design the Linux-based display systems of the various experiments in order to deploy a standardized image.
