Manages all dignitary protection visits, all special events in Jacksonville, storms and large scale civil unrest.

Commanded agency's specialty units that included K-9, Mounted Unit, Aviation Unit, Civil Unit, Risk Protection Unit, Citywide Task Force, Offender Tracking Unit, DUI Unit, Motors Unit and the Auxiliary Unit. Also oversaw all of JSO's Community Engagement programs including the Police Athletic League [PAL]. Served as SWAT incident commander and the agency's city council liaison.

Commanded the Community Engagement Section where I oversaw the Agency's outreach programs. Transitioned to a Zone Commander where I commanded approximately 200 personnel who served Jacksonville's Southside.

I served as a Patrol Watch Commander where I supervised 60 patrol and DUI officers. I completed my MBA during my off duty time while in this position. I transferred into the Investigations Unit and managed the Burglary and Economic Crimes Units. Improvements were made in this unit that are still in use today. In 2012, Sheriff Rutherford asked me to take over the Police Athletic League as the Executive Director. I managed the multimillion dollar budget and raised nearly a million dollars in two years to benefit the underserved children within our community.
