I am currently team leading all work streams for a review of regulatory powers and the management of professional conduct, regarding recruit police officers within the Metropolitan Police. I am a LEAN qualified practitioner and my current role involves supporting a project manager in partnership with an external consultancy firm, to reach milestones in achieving new mapping of internal processes designed to reduce inefficiency and disproportionately, in addition to subsequent service wide implementation. I have previously worked within Continuous Policing Improvement Command (CPIC) where I led on developing a lateral and promotional development programme for staff members. I introduced a coaching culture within my business group, to ensure a nurturing environment for career progression and continual improvement. I also created the National Police Mentoring and Coaching Best Practise Group, the aims and objectives of which were to share knowledge across UK Police forces. Prior to this I worked for over 5 years in the education and youth sector, leading the MOPAC funded Youth Problem Solver programme within the Metropolitan Police. I have also worked in partnership with the London Violence Reduction Unit to increase community partnerships in violence reduction. Prior to working for the Metropolitan Police I worked in the performing arts industry, including a period working as a researcher for the BBC.
