I was employed at WH Smith as a multi-unit team leader at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. My main duties include looking after the day-to-day aspects of our Sound Express store, relating to the merchandising, overlooking deliveries and ensuring that we received all the high end stock, a weekly stock count, ensuring we have the correct pricing and Point of Sale (POS), weekly rota's four weeks in advance, finding cover for absences, logging jobs with outside companies to fix the store, conducting interviews, and taking disciplinary action.

My main duties in this role was to promote and drive sales of Ubisoft games to customers within several gaming stores throughout the North West of England and Wales. I would often liaise with management and regional directors to ensure that Ubisoft titles were in the charts or new releases were clearly advertised and that the stores had the correct Point of Sale to advertise the latest Ubisoft games. Offering purchase incentives to customers to increase brand loyalty and sales for Ubisoft and help the stores reach their daily sales targets. At the end of each working day I would complete a daily sales reports, indicating sales and pre-orders of all Ubisoft products.

On the convention side my key responsibilities included; Leading a team of five people for five-star silver service at corporate events, setting up for dinner and drink receptions at conventions, dealing with delegates and tidying up after events.On the arena side my key responsibilities included; Supervising a bar of 5-10 people per night in a fast-paced environment, serving between 100 and 1000 people within an hour. Dealing with customer complaints, handling large amounts of money, ensuring that all staff members were adhering to task lists created by myself and senior management before shifts, making sure that stock was fully replenished before doors opened and again before the intervals between acts. This role involved thorough training in food hygiene and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) standards. It also involved training in mixology and bar service. Within this role I was responsible for distributing staff tips fairly and evenly to all staff members on shift and cashing up the tills at the end of the night
