My first contributions were ETL tools for manipulating research data. Later I developed web crawlers for social networks that produced data useful for graph theoretic analyses. Additional web work included REST service design and implementation.I was the sole designer and Java developer on a peer-to-peer MapReduce demonstrating novel load distribution techniques (patent granted 2019). I also proposed and led the design and implementation of a novel content distribution platform for mobile adhoc networks (accepted for publication). My skills development was focused on cross-platform application, API, and protocol design in Java 8, C++11, and Python. My research interests were mainly related to content storage and distribution, content-aware networks, mobile networks, and big data; more shallowly I explored artificial intelligence, highly-concurrent systems, and high-performance networking.

I was involved in highly multidisciplinary projects in fields including animal behavior & physiology, molecular genetics, and computer science. During my time here I presented my work in animal behavior at two international conferences.
