- Manage a team of 6 which includes control of purchasing, stores, goods in and hire- Implementation of a stock reduction program year on year and supplier rationalisation - Extend Chinese and European sourcing policy and visiting new and key suppliers when required.- Introduction of new purchasing procedure which in turn eliminated purchasing by unauthorised personnel - Attend monthly Senior Management meeting and present monthly key departmental results - Regular measure vendor performance- Responsible in reducing costs year on year - Organise, monitor and lead stock take twice a year - Manage incoming delivery schedule for all supplies - Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis and internal customers
