Operations Manager
Leadership responsibility for the performance of 22 staff members (Team Leaders, Engagement Officers, Employment Advisors and Case Administrators) across two contracts; ETE, commissioned by the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and Integrated Offender Management (IOM) by the Staffordshire Police and Crime Commissioner. Implemented the contract across 16 sites, building excellent strategic/stakeholder relationships, promoting the service to generate referrals and ensuring co-location within Probation sites for collaborative working. Responsible for service delivery, resource management and the performance of the contract (Service Levels, and Quality Measures), the team (direct delivery) and the supply chain. Responsible for the budget/P&L and ensuring maximum income and no retained payments. Ensuring contractual targets/KPI’s are met and that customers are receiving a high-quality service from an engaged, motivated, passionate team. I have consistently exceeded contract KPI’s and established strongworking relationships with key stakeholders within the criminal justice and employability sectors. 70% conversion rate from programme start to successful job/training start.Supply chain management, including monthly performance meetings, supporting with performance improvement, communicating all relevant updates/changes (MoJ and internal), sharing best practice and providing training and support. Contributed to the successful bid wins and growth of Maximus within the West Midlands to create a strong reputation as a delivery partner of choice in the region across DWP, MoJ, PCC and Home Office contracts. Strategic planning and budget responsibility for £1.6 million worth of UK Government contracts.
