Petroleum Connection offers high-level conferences on targeted issues in the dynamic and important oil and gas industry. Few industries are generating as much present and future growth and opportunity as the oil and gas industry; and few industries also carry such important political implications and human issues—from the health of local communities and the environment to national security, energy independence, and world dynamics. We know that the understanding, creativity, practical know-how, and relationships necessary to harness, drive and direct the goods of the industry come down to a very personal level. Our conferences are intentionally limited in size and focus on niche, but important, issues that have many “spokes”—connected parts, interests, and implications. I am responsible for the management and performance analysis of business operations, including production, maintenance, warehousing, OSHA compliance, TTB reporting, TTB audit preparation, operational planning, operational forecasting, financial review, supply chain purchasing, and process development and improvement. I enhanced my models for costing, forecasting, and blending. Worked on plans for plant improvements and space consolidation to improve expenses. In 2020, I was part of a team to implement a Microsoft Business Central ERP system.

Southwest Spirits was a startup venture in spirits bottling with its first bottling run in August 2014. Since then, Southwest Spirits has bottled over 16 million bottles (over 1.3 million cases/2.3 million gallons). The company received the prestigious Rising Star Award at the 2019 Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America Convention.I am responsible for the management and performance analysis of business operations, including production, TTB reporting, TTB audit preparation, operational planning, operational forecasting, financial review, supply chain purchasing, warehouse operations, and process development and improvement. I developed models for costing, forecasting, blending, product development, barrel aging inventory management and projections, and inventory projections. In 2018, I was part of a small team to implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV system and the Vicinity Manufacturing MRP system.

Responsible for the development of costing models for sales and models to track new product development. Implemented barcoding system in the warehouse for item tracking and later managed warehouse operations.

Responsible for checking the viability of businesses for financial institutions. Also traveled throughout the country checking on bank-owned properties.

Responsible for managing the cleanup of foreclosed properties throughout western Florida for financial institutions, reporting of property enhancements, sales and company financials.

Responsible for managing and developing home inspection teams throughout Florida. Included hiring, training, and managing personnel. Responsibilities comprised marketing, budgeting, and forecasting for the regional operations and strategical planning with the other company regions.

Responsible for managing the operations team that oversaw and processed the work of over 3,000 subcontractors throughout the United States. Included developing systems to manage subcontractors and processing reports for our national customers.

Responsible for analysis of the United States’ largest private home inspection company. Developed performance metrics and budget forecasting templates. Handled the integration of acquired firms throughout the country.
