Hi, I'm Matt and I have a passion for spreading freedom around the globe by increasing the understanding and adoption of Bitcoin. Distributed proof-of-work (mining) together with proper self-custody (without a trusted third-party) have hoisted bitcoin up to the most important invention of our generation. Throughout my digital asset consulting years, I have become adept at consolidating data from both the crypto and traditional finance worlds into digestible bites tailor made to inform institutions' digital asset strategy and go to market approach. Now, after a brief sabbatical, or, intermittent retirement as I have coined it, I am back to work. This time, with a specific focus on Bitcoin.Personally, I have 8 years of experience participating in various blockchain ecosystems and have spent the last 4 professionally by serving enterprise clients as a Senior Blockchain Consultant at Ernst & Young (EY). There, I helped usher in the adoption of digital assets and blockchain technology while working with leading global crypto exchanges, traditional finance institutions, payment companies, and commercial clients. I have held a variety of roles relating to digital asset strategy/risk, institutional onboarding, process improvement, system analysis, and data visualization. I have worked in Agile environments following Scrum and ideated, designed, and prototyped in accordance with the design thinking methodology.My personal interests include anything in the health, fitness, and nutrition industry, snowboarding, and traveling.
