I have 25+ years of experience in miscellaneous metals fabrication with a specialty in water and wastewater. I started in the shop to learn how to fabricate metals and read shop drawings. I then moved to the engineering department and learned drafting and then Autocad. In that time I'd read all contract documents and produce drawings to be submitted for approval and fabrication. In 2007 I moved into the estimating department to bid on projects. I would develop takeoffs, get pricing for materials, and send bids to contractors. In 2012 I moved back to the engineering department to help the company, I took over our access hatch department and continued detailing drawings. In 2020 I started checking drawings for accuracy, value engineering, and general layout.
