In my previous life I was the founder and CEO of Armor Express where I built one of the leading body armor companies in the United States. Under my leadership (2005-2022), AE became the primary armor contractor, not only to prestigious local law enforcement agencies including Boston, Seattle, Newark, San Francisco, and Nashville Police Departments, but also the federal agencies of DHS, DEA, US Marshals Service, Federal Bureau of Prisons and Capitol Police and military branches of the US Navy, Army, Air Force and Marines. I also served as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Second Chance Body Armor (2002-2005), and Board Director for KUIU (2019-2023). I hold a BA in Finance from Michigan State University, as well as certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Office, and Government Contracting.
