Bedford Co. SOC is a specialized team comprised of County-wide Fire departments and Rescue Squad members that go one step farther in their efforts to serve and protect the public. The team trains on specialized areas that go outside the relm of most individual fire or rescue companies abilities. These areas include Rope Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Trench Collapse rescue, Structural Collapse Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Heavy Vehicle Rescue. The team also has a cache of equipment that cannot be found on most fire trucks. The specialized equipment is used for Hi-Angle or elevated rescues, industrial accidents, water related emergencies, breaching, breaking, burning, heavy lifting and moving, shoring, stabilizing, and mitigating environmental and health safety emergencies.

Our Primary business is the delivery and set up of sheds and gazebos for local shed dealers and manufacturers in the Central Virginia area. In addition we also relocate these and other structures for anyone who wants their building moved.
