Redefining the kilogram from a reference platinum-iridium cylinder to natural constants on the Electronic Kilogram project - the final frontier of physical references for SI units, eventually achieved in 2019. Invented a process for micro-machining tungsten weights using repurposed CNC equipment and electrochemical etching. Applied atomic force microscopy.
