Working on site at Marconi my responsibilities included candidate search; selecting appropriate candidates and conducting interviews, skill testing and primarily servicing the client giving added value. Working closely with project managers I had a hands on approach to recruitment, able to develop the contract whilst on site by actively searching out new buying points within the client.

I joined BT as a craft apprentice working as part of a team that installed private circuits for both Buisness & private customers in the South Downs region. In 1992 I was promoted to the Brighton Design office responsible for the design of Kilostream orders in the Southern home counties area. I was also responsible for dealing with both customer and engineering enquires for circuits under my design.
