Worked in 6th grade Special Ed classroom. 1-on-1 w student. Developed and implemented the activities, lessons and objectives of the student's IEP.

Designed and implemented the curriculum for 10th gr Civics and 12th gr Genocide courses for the 1st quarter of the 2013/14 school year.

Social Studies Teacher- Course: World Studies, U.S. History and Contemporary American HistoryDepartment collaborator and school team member for Safe and Civil Schools, Foundations Program on discipline and culture programs. Creating and implementing new lunchroom procedures to eliminate over-crowding, cutting and behavior incidents, as well as new tardy policies to eliminate hallway conflicts and behavior issues.Led professional development sessions and presented to both school and city-wide colleagues on curriculum discipline and classroom management techniques.As a member of the Professional Personnel Leadership Committee (PPLC), I collaborated on school improvement plans, budget and technology issues.

Beginning as the frosh/soph coach for 2-3 years, I was the JV coach of both, boys (Fall) and girls (Spring) teams at a top 10 high school program in the city of Chicago.I create tactic and strategy-based training drills as well as rigorous preseason physical conditioning programs. Monitor student academic performance to maintain strong student athletes.Promote college athletic programs and opportunities.

School Studies Teacher- Courses: Economics, Political Science, World Studies, U.S. History.Developed curriculum and unit plans as well as quarterly maps aligned with college readiness standards. As Department Chair, I supervised 4 teachers, created budget and supplies for the department and worked with administrators to complete the depart's role in the school improvement plan (SIPAA).Created the freshmen off-track monitoring program to mentor failing 9th graders.

Coached trained and organized the soccer programs at Tilden Academy- Boys team played in the fall season and girls played in the spring.I coordinated schedules, transportation, training locations and drills. Also developed rigorous physical conditioning programs for preseason training.Promoted college athletic opportunities as well as travel and club try-outs.
