eLearning development responsibilities:• Developing engaging learning experiences, resources and content on the LMS for my own subject and working with colleagues to create their own content for a wide range of departments, clubs and functions.• Working with subject matter experts to create elearning material on the LMS, including training on how to structure sites and create engaging content, establishing formatting best practice and collecting staff feedback.• Creating elearning content for a range of different purposes from classrooms teaching, to independent projects for online learning, stakeholder communication and as part of the social media strategy.• I am experienced at using PowerPoint to create engaging learning material, both as a presentation and as an interactive product. I am developing these skills into Articulate Storyline and Rise.• Ensuring that elearning resources are accessible for all learners, including disadvantaged, SEND and EAL students.• Tracking use of the LMS by key stakeholders, including monitoring engagement measures, device use data, gathering stakeholder feedback and reporting findings.Teaching/2nd in department responsibilities:• Teaching ICT/computer science at key stages 3, 4 and 5; designing the curriculum at each level. Teaching business studies at key stages 4 and 5.• Designing my departments’ curriculums according to the pedagogical principles of AFL and Responsive Teaching. • Differentiating lessons and learning resources appropriately.• Teaching a range of qualifications including computer science, ICT, Digital Applications and iMedia. • Managing the progress of classes of students completing discrete coursework projects, following the ADDIE model.• Supporting the HOD in managing the department team, including supporting and training staff, completing department reporting and documentation, tracking progress, standardising assessment, purchasing resources and managing budget.
